Day and Age sees Las Vegas indie quartet The Killers return with their third album of new material. A continuation of the concept established within their second album Sam's Town, Day and Age is an irresistible glitter-ball of fun that includes the critically acclaimed single 'Human'.
Taking all of the grandeur and fashionista charm of their previous albums, Hot Fuss and Sam's Town, The Killers have built upon their established sound to deliver in Day and Age an album that will make dancefloors quake with its dandyish neon beats and big statements. Acting on influences from song-writing giants such as Bruce Springsteen and U2, The Killers' lead singer Brandon Flowers projects epic storytelling lyrics amidst a shiny mix of galloping bass lines and smoky synths.
Produced by Stuart Price of Les Rythmes Digitales, Day and Age captures The Killers recognisable sound in a whirl of buzzing horns and stomping beats. With melodies that will stick in your head and invade your soul, Day and Age is a vast album that sparkles with dazzling anthemic tracks.

Not the best of the killers but still very good.

Unlike Hot Fuss & Sams Town you have to listen to this album a few times to appreicate it fully. The songs are delivered in a different style to what we are used to from the killers. A dustland fairytale is a amazingly written song and delivered perfectly and has a powerful meaning behind it similar to Goodnight travel well.
Songs like Spaceman, Human, Neon Tiger and I can't stay are catchy like all other killers songs yet slower. This is the killers not at their best but still performed in their own unique style. If your a fan of the killers buy this album and give it a chance, if your not listen to a few demos or their singles and then buy if you like what you hear.
What this rubbish
