This is a great game, as are pretty much all pokemon games, i havent played much into the game yet but already it is brilliant. The whole world seems a lot more inclusive than any of the original games (red, blue, yellow, gold, silver, Ruby, Sapphire, diamond or pearl) in that characters from around the world all come to speak to you throughout and then you can go and meet them at different parts of the game adding a kind of 'celebrity' factor to it, like the wing commander games, making the whole thing seem persistant and realistic.

The new way of catching pokemon, introduced in the first pokemon ranger game, also adds not only a different kind of fun over the standard rpg pokemon games but also difficulty and sometimes annoyance. If there was one problem with this game it would be the introductory training section of the game that gats you up to speed with the controls, introduces you to the new region of Almia and makes you friends with some of the ingame characters, not… more »

If there was one problem with this game it would be the introductory training section of the game that gats you up to speed with the controls, introduces you to the new region of Almia and makes you friends with some of the ingame characters, not that it is bad as such just it takes ages between 1hr 30 mins to 2hrs. Also you should save a lot because if you dont and you break your capture styler... tough luck (happened to me about an hour into the game and i had to start from the very beginning :( ).

But in all if you like good, enjoyable, tough games or are just a pokemon fan this game will interest you with its similarities to previous titles and new content to keep you suprised it is almost a perfect game, however the very few and incredibly far between let downs tarnish the experience.... but only a little.
