To be irrevocably in love with a vampire is both fantasy and nightmare woven into a dangerously heightened reality for Bella Swan. Pulled in one direction by her intense passion for Edward Cullen, and in another by her profound connection to werewolf Jacob Black, she has endured a tumultuous year of temptation, loss and strife to reach the ultimate turning point. Her imminent choice to either join the dark but seductive world of immortals or pursue a fully human life has become the thread from which the fate of two tribes hangs. Now that Bella has made her decision, a startling chain of unprecedented events is about to unfold with potentially devastating and unfathomable consequences. Just when the frayed strands of Bella's life - first discovered in TWILIGHT, then scattered and torn in NEW MOON and ECLIPSE - seem ready to heal and knit together, could they be destroyed...forever?

Breaking Dawn is full of suspense, tension and shocks aswell as humour and obviously some great love scenes between Edward and Bella. I'm a huge twilight fan so I'm obviously slightly biased so to balance it out, I will say that the ending was not as great as I had hoped; it was hyped up, dragged out, was unexpected but still great. Great read, hard to put down once u get stuck in!!
Awful

I couldn't help but love Twilight, and the subsequent 2 sequels, despite them being completely different from my usual taste, so I was eager to read Breaking Dawn as soon as I could. Now I wish I hadn't, what a disappointment. Stephenie Meyer seems to have forgotten her characters, who by the end of BD are not so much developed as changed into unrecognisable caricatures of themselves. And I seriously hated how everything was resolved so perfectly for every character, after all that Edward-Jacob tension she spent 2 books building up. What a waste. What a sickly sweet, happily ever after ending.
